My worst job interview ever
Life before working at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development wasn’t easy. The beginning of 2009 saw me unemployed in Greece and desperately looking for a job in London. At the peak of the financial crisis, the timing could not have been trickier.Read more >>

The Beauty of the Ugly City
When I was thinking whether I should take up the offer of doing my internship in Warsaw, a lot of my friends were rather skeptical. What on earth would I do in an ugly city like that? Fortunately, my financial state of affairs (or lack thereof) forced me to swallow my pride and do the unthinkable—go door-to-door. Eventually, I did very well financially, but after the last dollar earned was spent, the real reward of the internship that I discovered has remained with me ever since.Read more >>
